Beavers is presently at work on an octet to be premiered at the Palais Wittgenstein in Düsseldorf on the 14^th of September.

The octet, scored for oboe, clarinet, horn, bassoon, violin, viola, cello, and bass is written for a group of musicians connected with the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker.
