Beavers' latest work, even though commissioned by the Tonhalle of Düsseldorf and performed by the excellent musicians of the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, was premiered without a drop of public announcement to a very select and exclusive audience! Who were these select audience members? Children ages 8-13 of course! 

In a lively seven movement compositions that explores strikingly different characters, Beavers' 'Portraits' is his first work written for an audience of children. But this colorful, easygoing work has something for everyone!
